Openoffice Error In Writing Sub-document Content.xml
I clicked on Start Recovery and it recovered the document, sans the last half hour of work. I will try the 4.0.2 installation again. It contains information that I can't afford to lose. I'm getting an error message: Error saving the document Document name: Write Error. have a peek here

xx.odt was successfully save by LO. Then I did Select All (Ctrl-a) intending to copy it all and paste it into a new document. I have for now decided that I'll be happier with a nice stable 3.6 than with this brand new not so stable 4.0...

I'm not able to reproduce the bug now with the DOC or RTF files. once I changed the file format it saved it easily. I wonder if anybody has any idea as to what may have caused all this, the error message I was getting before the file close is nowhere to be found on
Writer locked up, and a few moments later Xubuntu popped up a Crash Report Detected message.
